VENERDÌ DI APPRENDIMENTO AL BALATON PARK CIRCUIT PER IL TEAM RENZI CORSE

Si è concluso il primo giorno di attività per il Team Renzi Corse al Balaton Park Circuit, tracciato ungherese al debutto assoluto nel calendario del WorldSSP. Un venerdì interamente dedicato alla scoperta di un layout totalmente nuovo per piloti e team.

Alle 11:20 è andata in scena l’unica sessione di prove libere: Valentin Debise è sceso in pista con l’unico obiettivo di apprendere le linee e le caratteristiche del circuito. Con soli 40 minuti a disposizione, il pilota francese ha chiuso il turno in P17.

Più complicata la Superpole delle 16:00, in cui purtroppo non è stato possibile trovare il giusto set-up per adattarsi alle particolarità della pista. Con il crono di 1’44.347, Debise si è qualificato in P23, segnando la qualifica più difficile della stagione finora.

Partire dal fondo non sarà semplice, ma il team e il pilota sono pronti a dare il massimo per recuperare terreno già da gara 1 di domani che si terrà alle 15:15. 

"Sapevamo che questo weekend sarebbe stato particolare, su una pista completamente nuova e senza riferimenti. Abbiamo usato la giornata per apprendere il più possibile, ma in Superpole non siamo riusciti a trovare la quadra. Partire dietro non è l’ideale, ma siamo fiduciosi: conosciamo le potenzialità di Valentin e domani daremo tutto."

"Non è stato un venerdì semplice. La pista è molto tecnica e serve tempo per interpretarla bene. Abbiamo provato diverse soluzioni ma non abbiamo ancora trovato il feeling giusto. Partire così indietro non aiuta, ma sono motivato: domani darò il massimo per recuperare posizioni."

LEARNING FRIDAY AT BALATON PARK CIRCUIT FOR TEAM RENZI CORSE

The first day of action at the Balaton Park Circuit has come to a close for Team Renzi Corse, with the Hungarian track making its debut on the WorldSSP calendar. It was a Friday entirely dedicated to learning and discovering this brand-new layout for both riders and teams.

At 11:20, the only Free Practice session of the day took place: Valentin Debise hit the track with the sole objective of learning the lines and characteristics of the circuit. With just 40 minutes available, the French rider closed the session in P17.

The Superpole at 16:00 proved to be even more challenging. Unfortunately, the team wasn’t able to find the right setup to adapt to the specific demands of the track. With a lap time of 1’44.347, Debise qualified P23, marking his most difficult qualifying session of the season so far.

Starting from the back won’t be easy, but both the team and the rider are ready to give it their all to recover positions in Race 1 tomorrow at 15:15.

"We knew this weekend would be tricky, with a brand-new track and no references. We used the day to learn as much as possible, but in Superpole we couldn’t quite find the right balance. Starting from the back is not ideal, but we trust in Valentin’s potential and we’ll give everything tomorrow."
