MAGNY-COURS: SI CHIUDE IL VENERDÌ DI TEAM RENZI CORSE TRA PROGRESSI E MARGINI DI MIGLIORAMENTO

Il Team Renzi Corse ha ufficialmente concluso il venerdì del nono round della WorldSSP a Magny-Cours, circuito di casa per il pilota francese Valentin Debise. Una giornata intensa che ha visto la squadra capitanata da Stefano Renzi lavorare con determinazione fin dalle prime ore della mattinata.

Alle 11:20, durante l’unica sessione di prove libere del weekend, Debise è sceso in pista mostrando un buon passo, chiudendo la sessione in top ten con ampi margini di miglioramento.

Miglioramenti che si sono concretizzati nel pomeriggio, durante la Superpole delle 16:00, dove il pilota ha abbassato il proprio tempo di quasi un secondo, fermando il cronometro sull’1’40.517. Un tempo che, tuttavia, non è bastato per andare oltre la quattordicesima posizione in griglia.

Il team guarda ora con fiducia a domani, quando Debise sarà nuovamente in pista per i 10 minuti di warm up alle 10:10, prima di disputare Gara 1 alle 15:15.

"È stata una giornata positiva, anche se non semplice. Sapevamo che la Superpole sarebbe stata delicata, ma Valentin ha comunque fatto un buon lavoro abbassando il crono rispetto al mattino. Nonostante la posizione in griglia non ci soddisfi del tutto, il passo c’è e domani possiamo dire la nostra in gara. Siamo fiduciosi e motivati per sfruttare al meglio ogni occasione."

"Correre qui a Magny-Cours è sempre speciale per me, e oggi ho sentito tutto il supporto del pubblico di casa. Nelle libere ci siamo concentrati sul ritmo, poi in Superpole ho migliorato il tempo, anche se non abbastanza per una posizione migliore. Domani sarà una gara tosta, ma sono pronto a lottare e dare il massimo davanti alla mia gente."

RENZI CORSE COMPLETES FRIDAY ACTION AT MAGNY-COURS: POSITIVE FEELINGS AND ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

Friday activities come to a close at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours for Renzi Corse. This morning at 11:20, Valentin Debise hit the track for the only free practice session available, finishing inside the top ten with encouraging potential for improvement.

At 16:00, the Superpole session saw the French rider significantly improve his time by nearly a full second, clocking a best lap of 1’40.517. Despite the progress, the result was only enough for 14th place on the starting grid.

The team, led by Stefano Renzi, remains confident heading into the race weekend. The technical work done today lays the groundwork for a competitive showing, especially considering Debise’s motivation to perform well at his home round.

The schedule for Saturday includes Warm Up at 10:10, followed by Race 1 at 15:00. 

"It was a positive, albeit not easy, day. We knew Superpole would be tricky, but Valentin still did a good job by improving his lap time compared to the morning. Even though the grid position isn’t exactly what we were hoping for, the race pace is there and we believe we can be competitive tomorrow. We're confident and motivated to make the most of every opportunity."
