SABATO DIFFICILE A MAGNY-COURS PER IL TEAM RENZI CORSE: OCCHI PUNTATI SU GARA 2

Si è appena conclusa una giornata intensa per il Team Renzi Corse sul Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, teatro del nono round del Campionato WorldSSP. Dopo un inizio di weekend complicato dal punto di vista tecnico, già durante il warm-up del mattino si erano intravisti segnali positivi e un buon feeling per il pilota Valentin Debise.

Alle 15:15, allo spegnersi dei semafori per Gara 1, Valentin è partito con grande determinazione dalla 14ª casella della griglia, riuscendo subito a guadagnare posizioni. Purtroppo, una scivolata ha interrotto il suo slancio, vanificando il buon inizio. Nonostante l’incidente, il pilota francese è rientrato in pista con l’obiettivo di siglare un buon crono in ottica della griglia di Gara 2. Tuttavia, un problema tecnico – probabilmente legato alla caduta – ha costretto il team al ritiro anticipato.

Ora tutte le energie del team capitanato da Stefano Renzi sono rivolte a Gara 2, in programma domenica alle ore 14:00, con la determinazione di trasformare il lavoro svolto nel weekend in un risultato positivo davanti al pubblico di casa di Valentin.

«Oggi è stata una giornata impegnativa. Dopo le difficoltà tecniche dei giorni scorsi, stamattina sembrava tutto sistemato e c’erano buone sensazioni. In gara siamo partiti bene, ma purtroppo l’imprevisto della scivolata ha compromesso il risultato. Abbiamo provato comunque a raccogliere dati utili per domani, ma il problema tecnico ci ha costretti al ritiro. Ora lavoriamo per Gara 2: siamo fiduciosi e vogliamo chiudere questo weekend in modo positivo.»

«Avevo buone sensazioni fin dal warm-up e in partenza mi sentivo competitivo. Peccato davvero per la caduta, perché potevamo fare una bella gara. Dopo l'incidente ho provato a rientrare per preparare Gara 2, ma un problema tecnico ci ha fermati. Domani darò tutto per fare bene davanti al mio pubblico, il supporto qui è sempre speciale.»

DIFFICULT SATURDAY AT MAGNY-COURS FOR TEAM RENZI CORSE: ALL EYES ON RACE 2

It was an intense Saturday for Team Renzi Corse at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, the stage for the ninth round of the WorldSSP Championship. After a technically challenging start to the weekend, the morning warm-up showed promising signs and a good feeling for rider Valentin Debise.

At 15:15, as the lights went out for Race 1, Valentin launched from 14th on the grid with determination, immediately gaining several positions. Unfortunately, a crash cut his progress short, nullifying the strong start. Despite the incident, the French rider rejoined the race aiming to set a fast lap time to improve his grid spot for Race 2. However, a technical issue—likely caused by the earlier crash—forced the team to retire early.

Now, all the efforts of Stefano Renzi’s team are focused on Race 2, scheduled for Sunday at 14:00, with the determination to turn the hard work done throughout the weekend into a positive result in front of Valentin’s home crowd.

"Today was a tough day. After the technical issues earlier in the weekend, everything seemed to be back on track this morning, and the feeling was good. We had a strong start in the race, but the crash unfortunately ruined our chances. We still tried to gather useful data for tomorrow, but the technical problem forced us to retire. Now we’re focused on Race 2 – we’re confident and want to end this weekend on a high note."

"I felt good from the warm-up, and I was competitive at the start. It’s a shame about the crash because we had the pace for a solid race. After the fall, I tried to get back out to prepare for Race 2, but a technical issue stopped us. Tomorrow I’ll give everything I have to do well in front of my home crowd – the support here is always special."
