TEAM RENZI CORSE: DOMENICA AGRODOLCE A ESTORIL, DEBISE FUORI A UN GIRO DALLA FINE

Si chiude con un misto di soddisfazione e rammarico il weekend del team Renzi Corse sul circuito di Estoril. Dopo la splendida vittoria di sabato in Gara 1, la domenica era iniziata nel migliore dei modi con un Warm Up brillante: ancora una volta Valentin Debise e la squadra romana hanno firmato il miglior tempo, confermando il loro stato di forma.

Con queste premesse, alle 12:35 il team era pronto a giocarsi tutto in Gara 2. Valentin è scattato ancora una volta in modo impeccabile, portandosi subito al comando e mantenendo la testa della corsa per diversi giri. Dopo una serrata battaglia, il pilota francese si è stabilizzato in seconda posizione, pronto a giocarsi il tutto per tutto nel finale.

Purtroppo, a un solo giro dalla fine, un problema tecnico ha messo fuori causa Debise, costringendolo al ritiro e spegnendo le speranze di un altro risultato di prestigio.

Un epilogo amaro che non cancella quanto di buono fatto durante il weekend e che rafforza la determinazione della squadra in vista del gran finale di stagione.

Ora lo sguardo è già puntato sul prossimo e ultimo round del campionato, in programma la prossima settimana sul circuito di Jerez de la Frontera.

Fino a pochi minuti dalla fine tutto stava andando benissimo, poi un problema tecnico ci ha costretti al ritiro. Fa parte delle gare, purtroppo può succedere.  Siamo comunque consapevoli della nostra forza: abbiamo un pilota molto veloce e una squadra che lavora bene. Adesso pensiamo a Jerez, dove proveremo a riprenderci quello che oggi ci è sfuggito. Siamo comunque soddisfatti e voglio ringraziare gli sponsor, la squadra e Valentin per tutto il lavoro fatto."

TEAM RENZI CORSE: BITTERSWEET SUNDAY AT ESTORIL, DEBISE OUT ONE LAP FROM THE END

The weekend at the Estoril circuit ends with mixed feelings for Team Renzi Corse. After Saturday’s brilliant victory in Race 1, Sunday started in the best possible way with a strong Warm Up: once again, Valentin Debise and the Roman squad set the fastest time, confirming their excellent form.

With those results in hand, the team was ready to go all-in for Race 2 at 12:35. Valentin made another perfect start, immediately taking the lead and holding it for several laps. After a fierce battle, the French rider settled into second place, ready to fight for victory in the final stages.

Unfortunately, just one lap from the end, a technical issue forced Debise to retire, ending all hopes for another top result.

It was a bitter ending that doesn’t erase the great performance throughout the weekend and only strengthens the team’s determination ahead of the season finale.

All eyes are now on the next and final round of the championship, scheduled next week at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit.

"It’s been a really exciting and rewarding weekend, thanks to the incredible work of the rider and the whole team. Everything was going perfectly until just a few minutes from the end, then a technical issue forced us to retire. "It’s been a very intense weekend. After Saturday’s win, I was super motivated and felt I could repeat a great result today. The start was strong and I felt competitive, but unfortunately, a technical issue on the final lap ended our race.  It’s really disappointing because we had everything we needed to do well, but that’s racing.  Thanks to the team for their amazing work and support, we proved once again that we’re fast. Now it’s time to focus on Jerez; I want to end the season in the best way possible!"
